The Growth Journey of Guillaume

Now, assuming you're caught up, let's dive into my next topic!
I began my journey at dualoop a few weeks before Guillaume. Even in those early days, his drive and determination stood out to me.
Getting in the thick of things
Despite not being an official member of the team, he eagerly jumped in to help the operation team, provide valuable market insights, and absorb as much information as possible about his future assignment at Nodalview.
When I asked him why he decided to join dualoop, he explained that he was drawn to the company's ambition to grow, our commitment to doing things right, and the many opportunities we offered.
He knew that he wouldn't just be a Product Manager; he would go much further than that, ready to tackle any challenge that came his way.
Of course, Guillaume's current workload and achievements didn't happen overnight.
It all began with a solid foundation, ensuring his assignment was on track, receiving coaching from our experienced consultants, and leveraging our Intervision sessions.
As he gained more confidence and expertise, Guillaume took on increasing responsibilities with his client.
Despite his workload increasing, he actively sought out more opportunities to contribute to dualoop, starting with a review of our HR processes and eventually taking on all of his current responsibilities.
This is a critical moment in Guillaume's journey. We never overloaded him with tasks beyond his capability.
Instead, Guillaume's goal was to learn as much as possible, and by gradually taking on more responsibilities, he was able to achieve just that.
What sets Guillaume apart is his thirst for knowledge. He constantly sought out new opportunities to grow and learn, and dualoop provided him with a safe and supportive environment to do so.
This allowed him to develop his skills in product management, communication, problem-solving, and reliability by leaps and bounds.
After just six months, Guillaume began coaching our consultants internally and will soon expand his coaching to external clients.
His rapid learning and development have been impressive. He also analyses RFPs and assists us in determining which projects we should position ourselves for.
In addition to his coaching, Guillaume is deeply involved in dualoop framework preparation, staying up to date on new practices and industry developments (Oh, you should see his library, with only the best product management books).
The Important Details
Now, some may argue that these tasks fall within the purview of a typical product manager, but Guillaume goes above and beyond. He is actively involved in our recruitment process and is often the contact for potential hires.
Guillaume helps us define new processes, experiment with different approaches, and is an integral part of our hiring conversations.
Guillaume goes above and beyond his role as a product manager to help us with business development, taking calls with prospects, collecting data, and formalizing specific offers.
But that's not all he does. Guillaume also participates in management meetings and helps us define our global strategy.
Certainly, not every new hire at dualoop is expected or suggested to take on these responsibilities, but we provide a supportive environment that encourages growth and development.
We won't tell you that you're too young or inexperienced to take on new challenges; instead, we give you the opportunity to learn, fail, and try again.
Ultimately, it's the people that make working at dualoop so rewarding. Witnessing Guillaume's rapid professional growth has been incredible, and seeing the impact he's had on our company is even more amazing.
So, to summarize, what can you do to accelerate your growth process?
First and foremost, you must have a genuine desire to learn and grow, not just to boost your ego or rush to the finish line.
It requires real dedication and determination. Even if you want to go fast, it's crucial to find a comfortable pace that doesn't lead to burnout.
